Cypress Bay extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 3-0. They skirted past the Centennial Eagles 63-60. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lightning also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

As for Centennial, they now have a losing record of 1-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since December 7, 2024.

Jayden Prosper and Jalen Bello certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Prosper went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points, while Bello posted 12 points. Prosper's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Lucas Cruzado was another key player, putting up six points.

Looking ahead, Cypress Bay will take on Flanagan at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Centennial, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Stoneman Douglas at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
