Volleyball Recap: Minster Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. John's on Thursday, Minster came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Anna Rockets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Anna Kohne paced Minster's offense, picking up eight kills. Kohne got some help from Lauren Tyler and her 20 assists. Tyler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leading Anna to victory were Donna Foster and Layton Barhorst. Foster had 12 digs, while Barhorst had five digs.

Minster's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Anna, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Minster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Fairlawn on the 30th. As for Anna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Adena on the 30th.
