Soccer Recap: Maine East Comes Up Short

Maine East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waukegan Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Maine East of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Maine East's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Waukegan, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7-2.

Coming up, Maine East will host Lincoln Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waukegan, they will take on Von Steuben in a tournament on Saturday.
