Osage came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Hudson Pirates 8-1. Eight seems to be a good number for the Green Devils as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Osage's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Hudson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osage will host Lake Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.63 runs per game on average), something the Green Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hudson, they will challenge Dike-New Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
