10 recruits on the rise: Ronnell Sims

Abilene's less-heralded Sims sparked the Eagles this season.
Ronnell Sims, ATH, Abilene (Abilene, Texas)Video HighlightsWhile cousin Herschel enjoyed most of the preseason accolades, it was Ronnell Sims who was the offensive leader for Abilene. Against some very stiff competition, he averaged nearly 230 total yards per game. Despite his 5-8, 170-pound frame, Sims' senior season has boosted his recruiting stock even further.
Sims rushed for 148 yards and threw for an additional 91 against Plant.
