Oakland-Craig waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ponca Indians. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Indians, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Briar Ray paced Oakland-Craig's offense, picking up 21 kills. Ray got some help from Mia Thomsen and her 34 assists. Brinley Eriksen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Ponca lost, don't look at Oliva Taylor. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and one assist.

Oakland-Craig's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for Ponca, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season.

Oakland-Craig didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on the 29th. Ponca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
