JSerra Catholic extended their postseason success on Thursday against Carlsbad. They were the clear victor by a 79-54 margin over the Carlsbad Lancers. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for JSerra Catholic and bumps their season record up to 24-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Carlsbad, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-7.

Looking ahead, JSerra Catholic will square off against Sierra Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sierra Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully JSerra Catholic likes a good challenge. Carlsbad does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
