Football Game Preview: Burns Hilanders vs. Vale Vikings + How To Watch

The Burns Hilanders will take on the Vale Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Burns comes in on 12 and Vale on six.

If Burns beats Vale with 62 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Hilanders breezed past McLoughlin to the tune of 62-0 on Friday. Fans of the Hilanders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Vale's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout last Friday. They blew past Nyssa 49-0. The Vikings are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fifth matchup they've won by 20+ points this season.

Vale found their leader in sophomore Cal Johnson, who rushed for 63 yards and two TDs on only five carries, and also threw for 166 yards and one touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. Thomas Rodriguez was another key player, gaining 39 total yards.

Burns' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Vale, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything went Burns' way against Vale in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Burns made off with a 42-16 win. Will the Hilanders repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
