Soccer Game Preview: Fenwick vs. Kenwood

The Fenwick Friars will take on the Kenwood Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fenwick will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Fenwick had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Jones on Wednesday. The Friars' defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 6-0 shutout. Fenwick might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Jones from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Kenwood entered their contest against Agricultural Science on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Broncos took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cyclones. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Kenwood couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Fenwick, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1.
