McIntosh has gone 6-1 against Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The McIntosh Chiefs will challenge the Columbus Blue Devils at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

Columbus better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when McIntosh really gets things going. McIntosh's defense stepped up to hand Northgate a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Chiefs have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Columbus' contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Calvary Christian as Columbus made off with a 4-1 victory.

Columbus' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four games. As for McIntosh, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

McIntosh was able to grind out a solid win over Columbus when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Will McIntosh repeat their success, or does Columbus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
