Basketball Game Preview: Griffin School Griffins vs. Austin Waldorf Roadrunners

Griffin School is 0-3 against Austin Waldorf since February of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Griffin School Griffins will host the Austin Waldorf Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Griffin School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Idea Pflugerville. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Austin Waldorf blew past Summit Christian Academy, posting a 61-19 victory. The Roadrunners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Griffin School now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Austin Waldorf, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Griffin School was taken down by Austin Waldorf 59-21 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can Griffin School avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
