Volleyball Recap: Central Gets the Win + How To Watch

Central took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Star Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Braves on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2019.

Central's offense was headlined by Charlotte Chambers and Presley Stephenson, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Chaney Birt and her 12 assists. Chambers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Star Valley, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Green River on the 29th. Star Valley has also already played their next contest (against Sheridan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
