Soccer Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Sunset was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to the Hillcrest Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in January.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Hillcrest, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunset will venture away from home to challenge Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Molina is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Hillcrest, they will head out to square off against South Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest is facing South Oak Cliff at the right time seeing as South Oak Cliff is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
