Baseball Recap: Hermantown Hawks vs. Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats

The home team had come away the winner the last eight times Hermantown and Chisago Lakes Area had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Wildcats since April 26, 2019.

Jax Johnson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Sonneson, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
