Soccer Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the North Side Steers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for North Side, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Polytechnic will take on rival Trimble Tech at 7:45 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, North Side is set to challenge their familiar foe South Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
