Basketball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Takes a Loss

Schaeffer Academy suffered their closest defeat since February 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lanesboro Burros by a score of 49-46. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Burros earlier this season, when they won 76-42.

Schaeffer Academy dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lanesboro, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Schaeffer Academy Lions duke it out with the Goodhue Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lanesboro, they will head out to take on Glenville-Emmons at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
