Notre Dame had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They secured a 53-49 W over the Glenwood Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-51 last Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Glenwood still got an impressive performance from Wyatt McNeil, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. McNeil is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last six games he's played. Lamarcus Parker was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Notre Dame pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Glenwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-37 defeat against South Webster on the 1st. As for Glenwood, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Glenwood Tigers challenge the Green Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
