Lakewood took down Boca Ciega 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Gibbs made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,333 from 5,584. The improvement was largely due to a 26-18 victory over the Gladiators last week.
5-foot-10 quarterback Derrick Cook of the Pirates is the league leader in passing yards this season with 915. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Montel Johnson. The Tarpon Springs star has 20 catches for 339 yards.
The Spartans led 5A District 8 in scoring this week by notching 38 points on Boca Ciega.
