Football Game Preview: Rush Springs Redskins vs. Ringling Blue Devils

Rush Springs hasn't had much luck against Ringling recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Redskins are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rush Springs is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Konawa on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Redskins came up short against the Tigers, falling 42-20. The Redskins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Rush Springs' loss came about despite a quality game from Cord Jones, who rushed for 67 yards, and also threw for 73 yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Ringling was beaten by Wayne 50-7 on Friday. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ringling now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rush Springs, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Rush Springs was taken down by Ringling 36-0 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Redskins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
