Basketball Recap: Neuse Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Neuse Christian Academy lost against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Neuse Christian Academy Lions took a blow against the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion, falling 56-23. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Neuse Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aidan Graham posted 12 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Graham a new career-high.

Neuse Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15.

Looking ahead, Neuse Christian Academy will take on Halifax Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. Neuse Christian Academy is facing Halifax Academy at the right time seeing as Halifax Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-36 loss against St. Thomas More Academy on the 6th.
