There's no place like home for Perry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 61-55 victory over the South Rebels on Wednesday. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 69-62 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for South, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Bristol at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Bristol will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Perry surely won't give up without a fight. As for South, they will take on Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Riverside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully South likes a good challenge.
