MacArthur had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers, posting a 60-28 win. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

MacArthur's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexi Meyer, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zahnya Gibbs, who posted ten points.

Despite the loss, Decatur Eisenhower saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tatiana Ramey had six points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Brianna Johnson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

MacArthur has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. Decatur Eisenhower is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.

MacArthur has already played their next match, a 58-51 victory against Mt. Zion on the 21st. Decatur Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
