Softball Recap: Nitro Wildcats vs. Huntington Highlanders

There's no place like home for Nitro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Huntington Highlanders on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-9 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McKenzie Hyatt was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
