Volleyball Recap: Conway Tigers vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs
Conway and North Myrtle Beach squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Conway had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 25-15.
Olivia Drew paced Conway's offense, picking up ten kills. Drew got some help from Madeline Green and her 18 assists.
Among those leading the charge was Katlyn Powers, who had 16 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for North Myrtle Beach, their win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 36-5.
Conway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will take on Woodmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
