Football Game Preview: Three Forks Wolves vs. Florence-Carlton Falcons + How To Watch

The Three Forks Wolves will challenge the Florence-Carlton Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Three Forks is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Baker 60-22. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on five straight.

It was another big night for Kanon Reichman, who rushed for 274 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 126 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Another player making a difference was Jackson Fanning, who rushed for 150 yards and three scores on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Three Forks was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 577 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 193 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Three Forks didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gavin Etchison and Fanning.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Florence-Carlton's strategy against Conrad on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Falcons blew the Cowboys out of the water with a 49-0 final score. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won four in a row.

Florence-Carlton's win came from a few key players Three Forks will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brody Duchien, who threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Mattix Chase helped Duchien out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and one score on only five carries.

Three Forks' victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Florence-Carlton, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Three Forks was able to grind out a solid victory over Florence-Carlton when the teams last played back in August, winning 25-13. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
