The Wade Hampton Generals won the last time they faced the Easley Green Wave, and things went their way on Monday too. Wade Hampton strolled past Easley with points to spare, taking the game 55-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wade Hampton.
Easley's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abbi Vite, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Vite scored a full 34.2% of Easley's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Proctor, who scored 17 points.
The win got Wade Hampton back to even at 3-3. As for Easley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Wade Hampton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mauldin at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Mauldin will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Easley, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Seneca is ranked 189th, while Easley is ranked 168th).
