Baseball Recap: Hampden Broncos vs. Brunswick Dragons
There's no place like home for Hampden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Brunswick Dragons get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The Broncos have beaten the Dragons the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Dragons has come to flipping the script.
Kaysen Wildman was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Cote, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Hampden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brunswick only posted an OBP of .350.
