Football Game Preview: Rock Hills vs. Doniphan West

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Rock Hills will square off against Doniphan West at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Rock Hills have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Doniphan West might have their hands full.

Rock Hills put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They blew past St. John's/Tipton Catholic 34-12. No one put up better numbers for Rock Hills than senior Zane Colson, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 310 yards and 4 touchdowns. That makes it five straight good games in a row from Colson.

Meanwhile, Doniphan West took a serious blow against Axtell, falling 28-74. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Doniphan West.

Rock Hills's victory lifted them to 7-1 while Doniphan West's loss dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Rock Hills' success rolls on or if Doniphan West are able to steal their positive momentum.
