Soccer Game Preview: Rockport-Fulton vs. Ingleside

The Rockport-Fulton Pirates will face off against the Ingleside Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockport-Fulton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Rockport-Fulton's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Bishop as Rockport-Fulton made off with a 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Their offense was hitting Bishop from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Carli Trebilcock led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ingleside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to London.

Rockport-Fulton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Ingleside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Rockport-Fulton's way against Ingleside in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Rockport-Fulton made off with a 5-2 victory. Will Rockport-Fulton repeat their success, or does Ingleside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
