Lincoln is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Washington on Friday, but Washington came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 33-31 win over the Warriors. Give the Patriots' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Washington, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Brandon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington will face off against rival Rapid City Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
