SIMON Came Up Big in Service's 26-6 Defeat
Starting off the list is Service's NORA SIMON, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. SIMON rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Her rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fifth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
If the past is any indication, SIMON could be in store for another big game when she takes on Chugiak on Saturday. SIMON rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards the last time she and the Mustangs duked it out back in September.

Ariel Misa Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, West Anchorage got the W thanks in part to Ariel Misa playing the best football she has all season. Misa threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was West Anchorage's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Misa and West Anchorage will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Eagle River at 5:00 p.m.
