Turtle Lake won the last time they faced Ellsworth and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lakers won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Lakers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Their offense was headlined by Olivia Korish and Charli Molls, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Lacey Popenhagen and her 14 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
