Volleyball Recap: Woods Cross Takes a Loss

Woods Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Box Elder Bees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Woods Cross was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-12.

Woods Cross' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Box Elder, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Woods Cross will be taking part in a tournament against Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Box Elder, they will host Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
