West Nassau hasn't had much luck against Fernandina Beach recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. West Nassau will be strutting in after a victory while Fernandina Beach will be coming in after a defeat.
On Thursday, West Nassau made easy work of Raines and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Nassau took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-10.

West Nassau's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brylei Page, who had 18 assists and two aces. Page has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more assists the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Haidyn Lopez, who had three digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Fernandina Beach came up short against West Nassau on Tuesday and fell 3-1.
Fernandina Beach started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-23.
West Nassau will need to focus on slowing down Ava Maggart, one of several Fernandina Beach players who made an impact when they last played. She had seven kills and three aces. Claire Wilson was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.
West Nassau now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fernandina Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
