Basketball Recap: Giltner Hornets vs. High Plains Storm

Giltner lost against High Plains back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Giltner Hornets had to suffer through a 72-29 loss at the hands of the High Plains Storm. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Giltner's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Rudy, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave Rudy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blaydon White, who put up four points.

Leading High Plains to victory were Ayden Hans and Maddix Fuhrman. Hans went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Fuhrman made all 8 shots he took to post 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Hans, who had nine points.
