Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winnetonka). They never let the Northeast Vikings get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Griffins considering their two-run performance the match before.

The win made it two in a row for Winnetonka and bumps their season record up to 3-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Northeast and 1-10 North Kansas City. As for Northeast, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winnetonka will venture away from home to take on Fort Osage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast, they will face off against North Kansas City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
