Qyen Griffin had a big game for the Tigers, rushing for 243 yards on 30 carries including a 4-yard touchdown run with 26 seconds remaining in the game. Kendrick Market and Tony Conner each scored on runs for South Panola.

Fred Coppet ran for four touchdowns and gained 83 yards for the Raiders who opened the Class 5A state playoffs in Florida. Jacob Ruddock completed 7 of 10 passes for 126 yards and became the school record holder for yards in a single season, breaking the old mark of 2,033 yards.

The Diablos won in a rout behind Bryan Keller's three receiving touchdowns and the rushing off Dallas Kessman and Jahleel Pinner. Kessman had a 74-yard scoring run while Pinner had touchdown runs of 41 and 61 yards.

Tyree Lee rushed for 297 yards on 22 carries with three touchdowns to lead Phoebus to a playoff win.

Freshman cornerback Jabrill Peppers scored on a pair of turnovers, taking in an 87-yard fumble return and a 94-yard interception for a score for Don Bosco Prep. Gary Nova completed 12 of 25 passes for 111 yards while Paul Canevari rushed for 85 yards on 23 carries.

Jacoby Brissett threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns, including a 55-yard touchdown to Nick O'Leary.

Quarterback Justin Worley broke the South Carolina state record for touchdown passes in a season as he completed four touchdown tosses and finished with 349 yards. His 55 season touchdowns are a new state record, breaking the old mark of 53 held by Willy Korn.

Manatee spread the wealth as Anthony Lauro, Quenton Bundrage, Mike Blakely and Cord Sandberg all scored in the Hurricanes' playoff win.

Marquise Williams had a pair of touchdown runs and also had one touchdown pass as Mallard Creek jumped out to a 28-0 first-quarter lead in its playoff win over Ardrey Kell.

Demetrius Hart rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns while quarterback Nick Patti completed 5 of 8 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns for Dr. Phillips.

Hillgrove (Powder Springs, Ga.) - 28
Camden County's run of nine consecutive regional championships came to an end with the loss to Hillgrove. Camden County was attempting to win its third straight AAAAA state title.

Malik Felton had a pair of rushing touchdowns and Domain Mora returned an interception for a score to lead Servite to a first-round playoff win over Jordan.

Mullen upped its win streak to 31 games in a row with a big win over Chaparral. Cyler Miles completed 13 of 15 passes for 192 yards while Adonis Ameen-Moore ran for 136 yards and two touchdowns for the Mustangs.
