Volleyball Recap: A.L. Brown Wonders vs. West Cabarrus Wolverines
A.L. Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Cabarrus Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wonders of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
A.L. Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West Cabarrus, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A.L. Brown will head out to challenge Stuart W. Cramer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Cabarrus, they will venture away from home to take on Mooresville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Cabarrus is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
