Baseball Recap: Bernards Comes Up Short

Bernards lost to Ridge back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mountaineers fell 8-3 to the Red Devil.

Alex Depierro was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Bernards' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bernards will square off against Nutley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridge, they will challenge The Pingry School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
