Volleyball Recap: Chiawana Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Sageview on Tuesday, Chiawana came back down to earth. The Riverhawks lost 3-0 to the Southridge Suns on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Riverhawks have suffered since October 24, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.

Chiawana has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Southridge, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chiawana will square off against rival Hanford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
