Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boardman). They strolled past the Maple Heights Mustangs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 36-20. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Boardman and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.5 points over those games. As for Maple Heights, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Boardman will take on Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maple Heights, they will face off against South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
