There's no place like home for Greenway, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They took their  contest  on Tuesday with ease, bagging  a  58-21 victory over the Goldwater Bulldogs. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  matchups by 30  points or more this season.
Greenway had a senior duo take command as  Alexandra Vazquez  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  steals and  Jazmyne Cordero  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten  points and nine  steals. Vazquez has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 11 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ramsie Hoil, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine  points and ten  rebounds.
 Greenway  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 22  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in eight consecutive  games.
Greenway is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record  this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.6 points. As for Goldwater, their defeat was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-14.
 Greenway will head out to  challenge Shadow Mountain  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Greenway is facing Shadow Mountain at the right time seeing as Shadow Mountain is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Goldwater, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Thunderbird  at 7:00  p.m. Thunderbird has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
