Soccer Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

If Parker was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jackson-Olin on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thundering Herd came up short against the McAdory Yellowjackets on Monday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Parker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while McAdory are ranked 38th).

Parker has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for McAdory, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Parker didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Mountain Brook on the 24th. As for McAdory, they have also already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Pinson Valley on the 22nd.
