The Lee Central Stallions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 53-38 to Marion. Lee Central has not had much luck with Marion recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Lee Central saw an underclassman step up: Jadin Price scored ten points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Price has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chuck Harry, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.

Gabriel Cusack was a one-man wrecking crew for Marion as he scored 19 points along with three steals. Jamorius Wilson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.

Lee Central has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Marion, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Mullins is coming into the matchup with eight straight wins at home, so Marion is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
