Volleyball Recap: West Field Takes a Loss

West Field came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ridgeline Riverhawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riverhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While West Field was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 25-17.

West Field's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Ridgeline, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Field is set to square off against their familiar foe Green Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeline will face off against rival Logan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
