Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] faced Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bombers lost 54-34 to the Mavericks. If the Bombers were looking for revenge after losing 30-14 to the Mavericks when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Drayson Johnson, who threw for 267 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 35 yards and one touchdown for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood. Thanks to that big game, Johnson is now up to 22 passing touchdowns on the season. Grady Nett was Johnson's top target, picking up 34 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 70 yards on only nine carries.

With the defeat, Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
