Baseball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost against Kelso back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thunder fell just short of the Hilanders by a score of 5-4. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brody Fellows made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Lucas Wolfley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Kelso, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

While Mountain View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
