Basketball Recap: Independence/Gilmanton Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Independence/Gilmanton waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the New Auburn Trojans by a score of 51-44. The Indees have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Independence/Gilmanton is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for New Auburn, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 15-1 record.
