There's no place like home for Douglas, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Blackstone-Millville Chargers on Monday. The Tigers not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 2nd (when they won  3-0).
 While Douglas won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16,  25-22.
Douglas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Callie Wall led the charge by  getting six  kills and three  aces.  Zoe Greenough was another key player,  getting 11  assists.
 They weren't the only good servers: Douglas  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blackstone-Millville only  served five.
 Despite the loss, Blackstone-Millville still got an impressive performance from   Brenna Kotsianas, who  had four  digs and three  aces.
The  win snapped Douglas' losing streak at six matches  and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Blackstone-Millville,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Douglas has already played their next contest,  a  3-1  defeat against Montachusett RVT on the 24th. As for Blackstone-Millville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against Westborough on the 24th.
