Shelby put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Kings Mountain Mountaineers 4-1. Considering Shelby have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Kings Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alyvia Berkowitz (2), Ramsey Brooks, and Kimberly Mayo.

Shelby's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 54 goals over those 11 matches. As for Kings Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-3 record this season.

Shelby has already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Bessemer City on the 29th. As for Kings Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Crest on the 24th.
